USGA Nominated Holland for Second Term

Trey Holland has been nominated to serve a second one-year term as president of the United States Golf Association. The election of officers and the full 15-member USGA Executive Committee will take place on Feb. 2, 2001, at the USGA's Annual Meeting in New York, N.Y.
As USGA President, Holland will lead the Executive Committee in directing the Association's professional staff and more than 1,200 volunteers who serve on more than 30 committees.
Holland, who served four years as vice president, joined the group in 1991 after serving on the USGA's Sectional Affairs Committee. He was chairman of the Championship Committee in 1998-99 and served as chairman of the Rules of Golf Committee from 1993-97.
