Woods Criticizes Tour Leadership

Tiger Woods criticized the PGA Tour and commissioner Tim Finchem in an article printed in Golf World magazine.
Woods said Finchem speaks to him only when Finchem wants Woods to play in a certain tournament. And Woods also has serious problems with how the Tour uses his image.
Tour spokesman Bob Coombs says Finchem and Woods have a 'solid relationship. I'm confused by these implications.'
Among Woods' complaints is the use of his name in certain company marketing (PriceWaterhouseCoopers lauded Woods' success in its `Fall Finish' campaign despite Woods' involvement with competitor American Express), and the issue of media rights.
The Tour increased the rights payments for his made-for-television duel with Sergio Garcia to $1.4 million, up from $400,000 for the David Duval exhibition.
