Given the stern test that Pinehurst No. 2 is expected to provide this week, any player who hopes to win the 2014 U.S. Open is going to have to be in complete control of every aspect of their game.

And that means more than just the full swing and short game. The players who are in contention Sunday also will have to manage their emotions and deal with unavoidable nerves.

Jack Nicklaus, who won four U.S. Opens among his 18 major championship victories, was as good mentally when the pressure was on as any player who ever lived, and in this video the Golden Bear is going to share with you some tips on how you can manage your game when the stakes are highest.
