
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – All but six players were able to finish the rain-suspended first round of the Wegmans LPGA Championship Thursday at Locust Hill Country Club.
After a 2-hour and 5-minute rain delay in the afternoon, play resumed at 7:39 p.m. EST. Fifty-eight players headed back on the course with play halted again at 9:12 p.m. EST due to darkness.
The second round will begin as scheduled at 7:15 a.m. on Friday. The six players still on the course when darkness fell Thursday will also return to conclude play at 7:15.
