DUBLIN, Ohio – Canada’s Graham DeLaet finished off a stellar showing in dramatic fashion Sunday in his first Presidents Cup for the Internationals.

DeLaet holed out from a greenside bunker at the 18th hole to halve the hole and win his match, 1 up, against American Jordan Spieth.

“What an unbelievable way to finish,” DeLaet said. “Pretty special finish.”

The victory improved DeLaet’s record to 3-1-1 for the week. He equaled Jason Day for most points won for the Internationals. DeLaet thrived at the 18th hole on the weekend. He chipped in from off the 18th green in a morning foursomes match to gain another half point.

“I know that everyone back home is super proud,” DeLaet said. “I’m a proud Canadian. It’s awesome to be here with these guys representing Canada.”
