Swedish rookie Caroline Hedwall won for the fourth time on the Ladies European Tour this season, taking the Hero Women's Indian Open by two strokes.

Hedwall finished at 12 under par, defeating two-time Indian Open winner Pornanong Phatlum in the 54-hole event.

“It’s just incredible. I can’t believe it myself to be honest. It’s been a great year and I’m happy that it’s gone so well,” Hedwall said.

In 19 LET events this season, Hedwall has finished in the top 10 in seven events. All of those finishes have come since May, when Hedwall won the Slovak Open for her first LET victory.

The tour ends its season next week, like its male counterpart, in Dubai at the Dubai Ladies Masters. Hedwall cannot win the money list, however.

On the strength of winning the Evian Masters in July, Japan’s Ai Miyazato is assured of winning the LET Order of Merit. Hedwall can pass Solheim Cup teammate Melissa Reid for second, as she trails the Englishwoman by just $16,264.
