Hunter Haas caddie to return at Bay Hill

PALM HARBOR, Fla. – David Streza, the PGA Tour caddie who was arrested March 4 while working for Hunter Haas at the Honda Classic, has been released from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s main detention and will return to his looping duties at next week’s Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Streza was arrested following Haas’ second round for an outstanding warrant for a probation violation. Long-time Tour caddie Joey Damiano replaced Streza at the Honda Classic, last week’s stop in Puerto Rico and this week’s Transitions Championship.

“I just had to deal with it,” Haas said on Tuesday at Innisbrook. “There’s enough of a circus atmosphere (on Tour), so it just added to it.”
