If Charley Hoffman could have made par on the final two holes at TPC River Highlands, he would have won for the third time in his PGA Tour career at the Travelers Championship.

Instead, he finished in 3 over par, allowing Marc Leishman to win his first PGA Tour title at 14 under par.

Though Hoffman came back to the field, Leishman shot a bogey-free final round of 8-under 62 earlier in the day to establish the ultimate winning score.

Hoffman made a double bogey at the 17th hole and bogeyed the final hole to shoot 4-under 66 and finish at 13 under, tied for second with Bubba Watson. The co-runner-up finish was the best for the Masters champion since his major triumph.

Four players tied for fourth at 12 under, including Tim Clark, John Rollins and the final pairing of Roland Thatcher and Brian Davis.

2007 champion Hunter Mahan shot 9-under 61 in the first group of the day to end in a tie for 11th place.
