Twenty-year-old Englishman Tom Lewis fancies a showdown with world No. 1 Luke Donald or Tiger Woods when he tees it up at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship next month.

'The field is amazing and I’m crossing my fingers that I get paired with one of the top names, like Luke Donald or Tiger Woods at some point during the week,' Lewis said Friday.

The low amateur at the Open Championship this summer turned pro in the fall, winning the Portugal Masters in his third pro start to earn European Tour status for two years.

Lewis anticipates his first full run through the European docket, especially in the emirate where he competed as a junior just two years ago.

“Pretty much every tournament in 2012 is going to be a new experience, so being in Abu Dhabi will be great because it is a course I know well,' he said.
