Vegas will be without one of its biggest headliners this week.

Hideki Matsuyama, who was one of four top-30 players in the field, has withdrawn from this week’s Shriners Hospitals for Children Open because of illness. The 21-year-old was replaced by Jim Herman.

Last week, in his first start as a PGA Tour member, Matsuyama tied for third at the Frys.com Open. He has finished inside the top 25 in seven of his eight career Tour starts.

The only top-30 players left in the field at TPC Summerlin are Zach Johnson (No. 11), Webb Simpson (24) and Nick Watney (27).
