The name has changed, but Tiger Woods’ end-of-season tournament will again be filled with 18 of the game’s biggest stars.

The field for the Northwestern Mutual World Challenge, to be played Dec. 5-8 at Sherwood CC in Thousand Oaks, Calif., was announced Monday, with 10 of the top 20 in the recent FedEx Cup standings scheduled to compete.

Woods, the tournament host and a five-time champion, will be playing once again this year.

He’ll be joined by a who’s who list of competitors that includes some international flavor in Rory McIlroy, Lee Westwood, Ian Poulter and defending champion Graeme McDowell.

Also competing this year are: Jason Dufner, Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker, Hunter Mahan, Ernie Els, Zach Johnson, Bubba Watson, Keegan Bradley, Jason Day, Jim Furyk and Steve Stricker.

Two more players will be added to the field at a later date.
