A week away from the start of his 2012 season, Rory McIlroy shared his schedule leading into what he hopes is a redemptive week at Augusta National.

McIlroy tweeted Monday his early season schedule, which begins next week at the Abu Dhabi HSBC Championship. He’ll next play in the Dubai Desert Classic before coming to the United States for four tournaments.

He’ll start his ‘12 PGA Tour campaign in the WGC-Accenture Match Play in February, then play two Florida Swing events at the Honda Classic and WGC-Cadillac Championship at Doral.

McIlroy will not play at the Arnold Palmer Invitational despite a projected stop in Orlando last summer. To guarantee he will make the minimum 15 starts to retain PGA Tour membership in 2013, McIlroy will likely have to add another event.

Those five tournaments will be the U.S. Open champion’s preparation for a return to the Masters, where he led through 63 holes until a triple-bogey on the 10th hole on Sunday brought about his demise.
