PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Following a morning deluge that swamped Pebble Beach Golf Links and made the other two courses in the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am rotation unplayable, the opening round is scheduled to restart at 11:30 a.m. PT.

An estimated .8 inches of rain fell Thursday morning and prompted a delay of 2 hours, 40 minutes. The afternoon forecast called for more scattered showers across drought-stricken Northern California.

Phil Mickelson was originally scheduled to tee off at 9:50 a.m. local timeoff the 10th tee at Monterery Peninsula Country Club but will now set out at 12:30 p.m., and it doesn’t seem likely he will complete his round.
