Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea will host the 2015 Presidents Cup, it was announced Wednesday. This move ensures that Nicklaus will be involved, in some capacity, in every Presidents Cup since 2003.

Only three of the previous eight Presidents Cup have been staged outside the U.S., but the move to South Korea, announced late last year, reinforces its growing stature in the game.

“The facility itself makes for an ideal location to host the Presidents Cup,” Nicklaus said in a statement. “We’re very pleased that the PGA Tour felt the same after evaluating its options throughout Korea.”

The par-72, 7,413-yard course hosted the Champions Tour’s Songdo Championship in 2010 and 2011, as well as the KLPGA’s Korea Women’s Open in ’12.
