Paula Creamer Wants to Win for her Grandfather

CORNING, N.Y. – Paula Creamer has special motivation at the Corning Classic this week.
'One of my main goals was always to win in front of my grandfather,' Creamer said.
Though Creamer has won eight LPGA events, she has yet to time a victory when her grandfather is attending. Tom Creamer, 91, is here this week. He's from Ithaca, N.Y., where before his retirement he coached the college's swim team.
'He's my No. 1 fan,' Creamer said.
Creamer's father, Paul, grew up in Syracuse, N.Y.. He's here this week with Karen, his wife and Paula's mother.
One of Paula's uncles and a number of cousins also are here.
'I've always wanted to win this event,' Creamer said.
Creamer, by the way, reports her mysterious stomach ailment is improving. After being unable to work out for nearly six weeks, she's been back in the gym for two weeks.
