Ryder Cup re-start scheduled singles on Monday

NEWPORT, Wales – The Ryder Cup is tentatively scheduled to begin today at 1:30 p.m. local time (8:30 a.m. ET) at Celtic Manor.

European Tour officials expect that the suspended third session will be completed today with singles play scheduled to begin Monday at 9:05 a.m. local time. The final singles match is scheduled to go off at 11:17 a.m. The captains are to submit their Sunday singles lineup one hour after the completion of today's third session.

Today's forecast calls for rains to halt in the afternoon with cloudy skies remaining but a chance of sunny intervals late in the afternoon. Monday is forecast to be clear with light showers moving in late in the afternoon.
