LEMONT, Ill. – Tiger Woods is committed to the concepts Sean Foley’s teaching him, but he isn’t quite ready to say he’s committed to the teacher.

Asked after his BMW Championship pro-am Wednesday whether Foley is his coach, Woods said: “He’s coaching me. We are working on it.”

But in answering questions about their work together, Woods acknowledged he’s committed to the principles and changes Foley is making in his swing, changes that are producing positive results in the FedEx Cup Playoffs. Foley is at the BMW Championship this week and walked a few holes with Woods in Wednesday’s pro-am round.

“I’ve committed to the concepts,” Woods said.

Woods said it’s actually taking less time to understand the fixes Foley’s incorporating in his swing that it did when he made changes under Butch Harmon and Hank Haney.
