Michael Jordan turned 52 Tuesday, and the Grill Room is celebrating with a look back at his career on the course.
Sure, he's made more headlines on the hardwood, but His Airness' affinity for golf is no secret. He regularly snuck out to the course during his time with the Chicago Bulls, and since his retirement, we've seen him on the links even more. Whether he's teeing it up in a pro-am, helping out the U.S. squads during intrnational competition or taking shots at Keegan Bradley and President Obama, MJ just can't seem to stop popping up on our radar, and we aren't hating it.
So join us, as we reminisce with some of his best moments on the course by clicking here or on the image below:
And in case you we're doubting Jordan's legitimacy on the course, here's a clip from the 2012 American Century pro-am, where he almost makes an ace with his cigar still in his mouth. Classic MJ.
And finally, we bring you this clip from this past year's Ryder Cup at Gleneagles, where Jordan talks about his passion for the Ryder Cup. In case the task force is still accepting applications for next year's captain, the six-time NBA champion would make a compelling candidate.
