1993 meets 1989: Korda, T-Swift hang at concert

Updated May 6th:

Taylor Swift may or may not have had one of the best videos of all time, depending on who you ask, but one thing that is not up for debate - she is a woman of her word.

After promising Jessica Korda concert tickets for her 1989 World Tour in Tokyo, she came through in a big way on Tuesday night. Turns out, Swift did "know a guy." That guy even got the golfer backstage.

T-Swizzle took the golf connection one step further on stage, showing off her club twirl while performing the song "Blank Space." Not that we haven't seen it before, but cool nonetheless.

It's not exactly Brennan Huff and Dale Doback becoming best friends, but this is pretty close.

Jessica Korda is currently in Japan. She noticed that pop superstar Taylor Swift is also in Japan as part of her 1989 World Tour.

So Korda, who apparently subscibes to Wayne Gretzky's old adage of "missing 100 percent of the shots you don't take," took her best shot ... and it landed.

The ladies can take it from here:

So, thanks to T-Swift "knowing a guy," it sounds like Korda will be enjoying "Shake It Off" in person on Tuesday or Wednesday night. And if you suddenly see Korda rocking half of a broken heart B.F.F. necklace, you'll know whose neck the other half is hanging around.
