Poulter launching his own trick-shot contest

Ian Poulter is infringing on our territory.

Of course, we have our #TrickShotThursday series, but now the European Ryder Cup stalwart has decided to launch his own campaign.

Promoting the contest and his new book, "No Limits," in a blog post on his publisher's website, Poulter writes:

Tweet me @IanJamesPoulter with the hashtag #PoultersTricks with a link to your golf trick video (Vine or YouTube links would be best), upload it to my Facebook page or share it with me on Instagram. Make sure to include the hashtag #PoultersTricks in all entries, please. I’ll be sharing and retweeting the entries across all social media platforms.

It's certainly a cool way to get your tricks out, considering Poulter's audience of 1.7 million Twitter followers, and the prizes have to pretty lavish, right?

My favourite video will win signed copy of No Limits, signed IJP Design merchandise and an exclusive set of Ryder Cup photos. Plus the opportunity to become a YouTube sensation!

... Oh.

As a way to get the series started, Poulter put this video together with the folks at Stella Artois. Beer drinkers are likely familiar with the practice of cutting foam from the top of a poured Stella, and this is pretty impressive.

In the immortal words of Alec Baldwin, "the world needs plenty of bartenders."
