UNC coach has Tiger fever, doesn't care who knows it

The North Carolina Tar Heels open their NCAA tournament on Friday against the Lipscomb Bisons, but you wouldn't know it from a quick conversation with their head coach.

Hall of Famer Roy Williams met with the media on Thursday, and opened his press conference by giving them a Tiger Woods update - the 14-time major champ had grabbed the lead during the first round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.

Tiger's name near the top of a leaderboard definitely adds an extra wrinkle to the opening weekend of March Madness, and from the looks of this clip, count Williams among those sports fans out there who may be flipping over to golf more than they had previously anticipated.

With Williams' attention elsewhere, could there be an upset brewing for the No. 2-seeded Tar Heels? Possibly. But perhaps those three national championships have earned him the benefit of the doubt.
