SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. – Another week, another top-10 finish for Charles Howell III.

Thanks to a final-round 6-under 65 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Howell earned his fifth top-10 in nine starts this season. He previously had results of T-5, T-6, T-7 and T-8 dating back to last year.

“We have been driving the ball a little bit better and then holing the putts I need to hole,” he said. “You know as a player that when you can make that nice putt for par sometimes it keeps the momentum going.

“Guys out here, they are getting so darn good now that you have got to be good at everything, really.”

Howell now owns 70 career top-10 finishes on the PGA Tour.
