LPGA Signs Sponsorship Deal

LPGA logo for LeaderboardsDAYTONA BEACH, Fla. -- The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) has signed Physiotherapy Associates, one of the nations leading outpatient physical rehabilitation organizations, as its official healthcare provider and official LPGA sponsor through 2008.
As part of the relationship, Physiotherapy Associates is title sponsor of the Tours sports medicine trailer, which will appear at nearly 30 tournaments in 2004.
Physiotherapy Associates is wellrespected as a leader in physical rehabilitation services, and is a welcomed addition to the LPGA sponsor family, said LPGA Commissioner Ty M. Votaw. Our Tour players will have a top-notch exercise facility and qualified rehabilitation professionals on-site at every tournament, and all of our members and staff will be provided with an extensive network of rehabilitation and exercise facilities across the country.
The centerpiece of the sponsorship is the staffing of a mobile 48-foot, state-of-the-art sports medicine facility. Physiotherapy Associates provides LPGA Tour players with a full suite of rehabilitative, preventive care and personal conditioning programs within the facility, as well as extensive equipment, treatment tables, multi-station gym and entertainment system.
LPGA players, Teaching and Club Professional (T&CP) members and staff also receive rehabilitation services through access to more than 370 Physiotherapy Associates locations throughout the country.
Additionally, Physiotherapy Associates will develop fitness programs for golfers that follow programs used by LPGA Tour players.
