Looking for back-to-back PGA TOUR wins, Phil Mickelson chipped in for birdie on his final hole of the day to take a one shot lead in the Northern Trust Open. 30 players did not finish Thursday. They'll be out early this morning to complete the 1st round.
- Daly Hurting
John Daly withdrew from the Avantha Masters after hitting a tree root during his 2nd shot on the 9th hole. Daly tweeted his right elbow 'snapped' and posted a picture of his arm in a cast. He will get X-Rays to determine the damage.
