Steranka is the CEO of the PGA of America and he said that when you have the combination of beautiful weather, high definition television, Major Champions, a supportive government and supportive fans in Bermuda, you get an event that is as good as it gets. Golf is a very global sport and he feels that the PGA of America is just getting started in its work with the game on a global level. In fact, he is on his way to Asia for a PGA of America Merchandise show later this week. Golf in the Olympics, he feels, will be the single greatest catalyst for growing the game of golf worldwide. The focus of the PGA of America will be using its expertise and resources to educate people young and old around the world about the game of golf.
