- 6 Times a Charm: Bryce Molder needed 6 playoff holes against Briny Baird to secure his first PGA TOUR win at the Frys.com Open. Counting the playoff he had 11 birdies in 24 holes.
- Tseng's Sixth: World #1 Yani Tseng won her 6th LPGA event of 2011 with a one-shot victory at the LPGA Hana Bank Championship. It's her 10th worldwide win this year.
- Fowler's First: Rickie Fowler won his first career tournament as a pro at the Kolon Korea Open on the One Asia tour. He beat Rory McIlroy by 6 shots.
- Faxon's First: No nerves for Brad Faxon to earn his first Champions Tour win...he didn't have to hit a shot Sunday. Heavy rain forced officials to cancel the final round of the Insperity Championship.
