Sorenstam, of course, remained No. 1 and was followed by Karrie Webb, Lorena Ochoa, Cristie Kerr and Paula Creamer to round out the top five.
The first change in the rankings came at No. 6, where Juli Inkster moved up a spot to replace Ai Miyazato.
Jeong Jang, Shiho Ohyama, Se-Ri Pak and Pat Hurst held on to positions 8-11, while Hee-Won Han moved up one place to 12th, bumping Mi Hyun Kim to 13th.
Julieta Granada remained 14th, Stacy Prammanasudh advanced three spots to 15th and Morgan Pressel was 16th again.
Sixteen-year-old Michelle Wie tumbled two places to 17th, her lowest ranking ever, and was followed by Jee Young Lee, Yuri Fudoh and Seon-Hwa Lee to round out the top 20.
