DiMarco Comes Out Tops at Exelon Invitational

Avondale, Pa. -- Chris DiMarco won six skins and $125,000 to win the 5th annual Exelon Invitational presented by Flonase. Tournament host Jim Furyk finished second with seven skins and $65,000.
Vijay Singh, the No. 4 player in the world, finished third in skins with five, but second in money earning $90,000. Spaniard Sergio Garcia, who has been battling swing changes this year, went skinless in his first appearance at the event.
The Exelon Invitational is an annual skins match where the pros compete for a purse of $280,000. This year the event attracted a crowd of 10,500 people and collected $100,000 for the Boys & Girls Clubs of Philadelphia.
Past participants have included David Toms, John Daly, David Duval, Davis Love III, Nick Price, Jesper Parnevik and Justin Leonard.
