Euro Tour Staying in Asia

European TourHONG KONG -- The European Tour remains in Asia for the second event of its 2008 season, the UBS Hong Kong Open.
Former champions like Miguel Angel Jimenez and Simon Dyson will be joined in a good field by Ryder Cup stars David Howell and Paul McGinley as well as European Ryder Cup captain Nick Faldo and top players such as Retief Goosen, Trevor Immelman, Mike Weir, K.J. Choi and Stuart Appleby.
Spain's Jose Manuel Lara won the event last year with a final-round 69 that gave him a two-shot victory over Juvic Pagunsan of the Philippines. It was Lara's first title on the European Tour.
This event is co-sanctioned by the European and Asian Tours. It was first staged in 1959 and has been held every year since then at the Hong Kong Golf Club.
