LPGA Player Tries to Qualify for Nissan

LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- LPGA Tour player Isabelle Beisiegel will be among 213 hopefuls attempting to qualify for the PGA Tour's Nissan Open.
The qualifying will take place on Tuesday, February 17th on the Eisenhower and Zaharias courses at Industry Hills Golf Club. The top two players from each course will earn spots in the Nissan Open.
Beisiegel, who earned status on the LPGA Tour in 2004 after sharing medalist honors at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament, tried to qualify for this week's Buick Invitational at Torrey Pines but fell short after shooting an 80.
The Nissan Open will be contested from February 19-22 at Riviera Country Club. Mike Weir captured the event in 2003.
