Nationwide Tour Gathers in Illinois

GLENVIEW, Ill. -- John Riegger claimed his first Nationwide Tour win in 11 seasons at last year's Bank of America Open.
Riegger, who hadn't won in 290 PGA TOUR-sanctioned events, rolled in a long birdie putt at the 18th hole to beat B.J. Staten by a shot.
Playing on the PGA Tour this season -- and struggling more than a little bit -- Riegger will not be in the field this week to defend his title. No player has ever repeated as champion at the Nationwide Tour event.
The GOLF CHANNEL has coverage of all four rounds.
Next week is the Rex Hospital Open, where Kyle Thompson won last year.
