Jim Thorpe and Jay Haas were the big winners last year. Thorpe carded three of four rounds in the 60s to win by two strokes over Tom Kite.
Haas shared sixth place, but that was enough to give him the title in the season-long Charles Schwab Cup race. Haas trailed Loren Roberts in the race for that crown during the final round, but rallied late to finish one shot behind Roberts which was good enough to win the Charles Schwab Cup.
Roberts and Haas are one and two in that race again this year with Roberts holding a 165-point lead entering the final event, which has double points. The winner takes home a $1 million annuity.
GOLF CHANNEL will broadcast action of all four rounds. The Champions Tour is part of the Wendy's Three Tour Challenge on November 12th and 13th, then the final round of the tour's Qualifying School runs November 14-17.
