Rain Washes Out Play in Italy

04 Open de ItaliaMILAN, Italy -- The second round was washed out Friday at the Telecom Open Italia after continuing rain left Castello di Tolcinasco Golf & Country Club under water.
Overnight rain that carried into the morning caused flooding that made any play impossible on Friday. The second round has now been pushed to Saturday with no change in the tee times.
Gregory Havret, who won this event in 2001, fired a 64 in the opening round on Thursday. The Frenchman was joined by England's Mark Roe in a tie for first at 8 under par.
New Zealander Michael Campbell and Sweden's Christopher Hanell are one shot off the lead at 7-under-par 65.
