Second Round Suspened in SAS

RALIEGH, N.C. -- The second round of the Carolina Classic was suspended for darkness Friday as the tournament attempts to catch up after Thursday's action was called off due to inclement weather.
The second round will resume at 7:30 AM ET Saturday. The plan is to complete the second round, make the cut and fit in as much of the third round before darkness.
David Morland IV, Joe Ogilvie and Bob Heintz share the lead at 8-under par. Morland, who opened with a 5-under 66, is through eight holes, while Ogilvie, who shot a 65 in the opening round, completed seven holes and Heintz, who started with a 64, played six.
Kevin Johnson is 7-under par through 10 holes and D.J. Brigman is at the same score through six holes. Ben Bates shot an opening-round 64 and has yet to tee off in the second round.
Morland birdied four, six and seven in both the first and second rounds to move atop the leaderboard.
'I hit a lot of good golf shots today,' said Morland, winner of last year's Southern Open. 'When you're playing well it's kind of advantageous when you don't have any time between rounds.'
Paul Gow, Brett Wetterich, Jason Dufner and Vaughn Taylor share seventh place at 6-under par. Gow and Wetterich were on the course when the horn was sounded and Dufner and Taylor had yet to take the course.
