PERTHSHIRE, Scotland -- While the FedExCup Playoffs are in full swing on the PGA TOUR, the European Tour will host the Johnnie Walker Championship. Paul Casey returns as the defending champion after shooting a 1-under 72 in the final-round last year to hold off Andrew Marshall and Soren Hansen by a shot.
Only six players ranked among the top 100 in the world are playing this week: Casey (20), Colin Montgomerie (41), Lee Westwood (51), Bradley Dredge (60), Jeev Milkha Singh (68) and Y.E. Yang (84).
The GOLF CHANNEL will have coverage of all four rounds.
Next week's event is the Omega European Masters, where Bradley Dredge claimed an eight-shot win last year.
