Greeted like royalty at Royal County Down

NEWCASTLE, Northern Ireland – Finally arrived at Royal County Down, four hours late and looking like we came direct from a Jimmy Buffett concert, when a kind gentleman with a neat coat and tie hurried out to the car park.

'We've been expecting you,' he smiled widely.

Welcomed like a member yet looking anything but member-like at what is considered by many the greatest links course in the world.

Just a hunch, there's little chance that happens at Cypress Point.
