There's still some golf left in Michigan's season. On the southwest side, Grand Haven Golf Club is offering an 18-hole special for $29, over half off the peak season rate. Located near Lake Michigan, the course's sandy, forested terrain has earned itself a nickname, the 'Pine Valley of Michigan.'
In Flower Mound, Tex., golfers can play Bridlewood Golf Club for as low as $40 on Saturday, while morning-thru-2 p.m. tee times are $75 (normally $95). The course was designed by D.A. Weibring and can stretch to over 7,100 yards from the championship tees for lower handicappers.
In Marlboro, Md, Marlton Golf Club is offering a foursomes special: $149 for the whole group before noon (normally $208) and $99 after noon (normally $178).
In Gurnee, Ill, Bittersweet Golf Club, is offering $35 friday tee times and $39 on Saturday and Sunday ($30 during the week).
Lastly, in Orlando, Fla., Grande Pines Golf Club, part of the Marriott Grande Pines Resort near Sea World, is welcoming non-residents with a $49 green fee on the Steve Smyers-designed course, while residents can play for $39.
