2020 Augusta National Women’s Amateur Coverage on GOLF

The Augusta National Women’s Amateur was established in 2019 to inspire increased interest and participation in the women’s game by creating a new, exhilarating and rewarding avenue for these players to fulfill their aspirations. The field includes the following players from the Golfweek/AmateurGolf.com Player Rankings top 10: No. 3 Emilia Migliaccio of Wake Forest, No. 4 Pauline Roussin-Bouchard of South Carolina, No. T5 Gina Kim of Duke, No. T5 Aneka Seumanutafa of Ohio State, No. 7 Allisen Corpuz of USC, No. T8 Pimnipa Panthong of Kent State and No. 10 Gurleen Kaur of Baylor.

The first 36 holes will be contested over two days on the Island and Bluff nines at Champions Retreat Golf Club April 1-2. The entire field will then play Augusta National for an official practice round Friday, April 3. The final round will take place at Augusta National on Saturday, April 4 and will feature the top 30 competitors who made the cut.

Provided the 2020 Augusta National Women’s Amateur Champion remain an amateur, she will receive an invitation to the next five Augusta National Women’s Amateurs, the 2020 U.S. Women’s Open, the 2020 Women’s British Open and any USGA, R&A and PGA of America amateur championships for which she is eligible for one year.

NBC will broadcast the final round on April 4 from 12-3pm ET with Golf Channel providing highlights, live reports and news coverage during the event.
