CROMWELL, Conn. – With a third-round 5-under 65 at the Travelers Championship, Bubba Watson put himself in position to win this tournament for the second time in three years.

Youve got to shoot low, Watson said of his chances entering the final round. Im going to have to shoot a low number, lower tomorrow than today. But you know, coming down the stretch, if I have a chance at it, it will be fun. Thats what were all trying to do. Were all trying to get a chance on Sunday.

Watsons initial PGA Tour victory came at TPC River Highlands two years ago. Since then, hes added wins at the Farmers Insurance Open, Zurich Classic and, of course, this years Masters Tournament.

The latter ' and any distractions that came as a result ' has been part of a hectic season for Watson, both professionally and personally.

Its been a whirlwind, he said. Won the Masters. Adopted a son. Its just been a whirlwind in every direction of my life. You know, its a blessing. Its been fun. Love the opportunity to do this.

On Sunday, hell have the opportunity to win once again.
