Tip of the Week: Creating power from the ground up

Every golfer wants to hit the ball longer but most don’t realize that you create power in your swing from the ground up.

That said, it’s also no coincidence that when it comes to your downswing, it’s the lower body that should start the sequencing.

In this video, Kai Fusser, Director of Fitness at Annika Academy, has a great drill that you can use to feel the sensation of leveraging the ground and your lower body to create more power in your game.

Try this drill on the range or at home and you’ll get some valuable feedback in how to sequence your golf swing and you’ll soon be blowing it by your buddies on the course.
