Thinking about picking Ian Poulter for the first week of Golf Channel’s Fantasy Challenge?

Do so at your own risk.

On Tuesday night, the Englishman tweeted:

Poulter had a torrid stretch toward the end of last season when he finished fourth at the BMW Masters, won the WGC-HSBC Champions and was solo second at the Australian Masters, moving him to 12th in the world.

After Kapalua, he will take another six weeks off before continuing his 2013 campaign at the WGC-Match Play Championship, an event he won three years ago. His final pre-Masters prep will come at the WGC-Cadillac Championship and Bay Hill. “Nice easy schedule,” he tweeted.
