The U.S. Golf Association on Wednesday announced the 20 sectional qualifying sites for this year’s U.S. Women’s Open.
Unlike the counterpart championship for the men, the U.S. Women’s Open does not feature a preliminary round of qualifying at the local level. The list of qualifying sites this year includes The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo., which hosted the 1995 and 2011 U.S. Women’s Opens, and Waialae Country Club in Honolulu, which played host in January to the PGA Tour’s Sony Open in Hawaii.
Online player registration for the U.S. Women’s Open, to be held at Sebonack Golf Club in Southampton, N.Y., begins Wednesday and continues through May 1 at 5 p.m. Visit this site for more information.
