Hank Haney is recognized all over the world as one of the foremost authorities on the game and the business of golf and is a leader in one of the most demanding of fields, individual performance development. Hank has coached golfers, built golf facilities and player academies across the globe for over 35 years.
As host of Golf Channel's hit show,The Haney Project, Hank has worked with celebrity golfers like Charles Barkley, Ray Romano and Rush Limbaugh.
Hank has taught over 50,000 golf lessons in his career and his students have won every major championship in junior golf, amateur golf and professional golf. He has worked with hundreds of top ranked pros and is most known for the six years he spent coaching Tiger Woods and the 25 years he spent coaching Masters and British Open champion Mark O'Meara.
He has instructed over 200 touring professional from the PGA, LPGA, Champions, European, Japanese, Australian and Asian Tours.
He has been a contributor to Golf Digest magazine for over 25 years where his articles appear monthly. Hank has also authored five books on golf instruction; The Big Miss: My Years Coaching Tiger Woods, Essentials of the Swing, The Only Golf Lesson You’ll Ever Need, No More Bad Shots and Fix Your Yips Forever.
Haney is Founder/owner of Hank Haney Golf Inc., which owns and operates golf training facilities in Texas and is the Director of Instruction for the Hank Haney International Junior Golf Academy on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Hank Haney’s Golf Schools and Instructor Certification programs are extending his teaching philosophy, core fundamentals and “Essentials of the Swing” curriculum to both professional instructors and amateur students worldwide.
In the past 15 years, more than 1,100 teachers from around the world have attended Hank’s international “Teach the Teacher” Summit, a comprehensive and hands-on training designed to sharpen a golf professionals teaching, training and student management skills.
