Three Tours for Three Times the Fun

Fred Couples and Mark Calcavecchia return to defend their crown at the annual Hyundai Team Matches at the Monarch Beach Resort Golf Links in Dana Point, Calif.
The two-player team competition will pit eight players within each tour division (PGA, LPGA, Champions) in a team match-play format, the same used in the Ryder Cup.
The two winners from Saturday's competition in each division will advance to the finals on Sunday for the chance to become the Hyundai Team Matches champions. The two runner-up teams will also compete on Sunday to determine third and fourth place.
Along with Couples and Calc from the PGA Tour, the LPGA brings back 2001 champions Lorie Kane and Janice Moodie and in the Champions division Allen Doyle and Dana Quigley will return in an effort to keep their title.
The players will be vying for the $200,000 first-place check in each division, with second-place teams recieving $100,000, $60,000 for third place and $40,000 for fourth.
Dottie Pepper and Juli Inkster will also be back to reclaim the title they've won a record four times. Couples and Calcavecchia have won the event twice.
