College player makes consecutive holes-in-one

The only thing better than your first career hole-in-one? A second one, of course.

Last week Kassandra Komma, a rising senior at Oakland University, aced both par 3s on the front nine at R&S Sharf Golf Course in Rochester Hills, Mich. The third hole was 177 yards, while the seventh was 108 yards.

The 23-year-old from Germany shot 3-under 69 on May 3 – an impressive feat, especially considering her best round at Oakland is 72.

“The second (hole-in-one), I did not know what to do,” Komma told the Detroit Free Press. “I started tearing up because there was no way I could get another one. I guess you can say I had a good round of golf … to say the least.”

Last month, she tied for 10th at the Summit League Championship, where she shot rounds of 84-81-79. Komma was second team all-conference, and her scoring average of 79.00 ranked sixth in the league.
