The 101st playing of the PGA Championship marks the tournament’s new spot within golf’s major championship rotation becoming the second of four annual events and moving from August to May. The tournament will be played at Bethpage Black Course in Long Island, New York. Regularly featuring the strongest field based on the Official World Golf Ranking, the PGA is the only all-professional major championship with 156 players competing annually for one of golf’s most prized possessions, the Wanamaker Trophy.
