On the eve of its season finale, the PGA Tour Champions unveiled its full schedule for the 2019 season.

The over-50 circuit will feature 27 events, including a three-tournament postseason that will culminate next November with the Charles Schwab Cup Championship where one player will walk away with the season-long Charles Schwab Cup. The season will kick off Jan. 17-19 with the Mitsubishi Electric Championship in Hawaii, the first of 19 states to host a Champions event next year.

There will also be stops in three foreign countries: the June 7-9 MasterCard Japan Championship, the Shaw Charity Classic in Canada Aug. 30-Sept. 1, and the Senior Open July 25-28 at Royal Lytham and St. Annes in England.

The trip to Lytham is one of five major stops in 2019, with the Regions Tradition returning to Greystone Country Club in Birmingham. The U.S. Senior Open will be played at The Warren GC at Notre Dame in Indiana, while the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship heads to Rochester’s Oak Hill, which last hosted the PGA Championship in 2013.

The Bridgestone Senior Players Championship shifts to Firestone Country Club in Akron, taking the place of the PGA Tour’s longtime WGC event that will move to Memphis beginning next year.

Among the notable players expected to join the circuit in 2019 are a pair of multiple major champions: Retief Goosen, who was recently announced as a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame and will turn 50 on Feb. 3, and Angel Cabrera, who turns 50 on Sept. 12. Ernie Els, who turns 50 on Oct. 17, will have to wait until 2020 to make his Champions debut.
