Rory McIlroy sold his Palm Beach Gardens mansion, but took a loss in the process.
McIlroy’s South Florida house went for $11.5 million, according to bizjournals.com. The website reports that McIlroy purchased the home for $9.5 million and the vacant lot for $2.25 million in 2012.
McIlroy recently purchased another home in Jupiter near the Bear’s Club. The one he just sold is 16,123 square feet, with six bedrooms, seven bathrooms, three half-bathrooms, a pool, a dock, a practice putting area and an exercise room.
