Callaway turns to Mickelson for latest wedge

Phil Mickelson is a short-game wizard, there’s no denying that. From backward flop shots to countless hole outs, we’ve all seen what Lefty can do with a wedge, and now Callaway is putting the wizard’s wand in your hands with the Mack Daddy 2 PM-Grind wedge.

Phil Mickelson has worked hand in hand with Callaway wedge maker Roger Cleveland to design a wedge that would give him an edge on the PGA Tour and the amateur player an edge in their weekly Nassau.

Released to Tour players at this week’s Valero Texas Open, Callaway’s Mack Daddy 2 PM-Grind wedge offers a uniquely shaded head with a high toe for greater surface area and grooves that run all the way across the face to allow players to be aggressive on every short-game shot.

Available to the public in May with an MSRP of $129, the PM-Grind wedge is offered in the following loft degrees: 56, 58, 60 and Lefty's signature 64.

No need to be a lefty either; the wedges will be manufactured in both right and left handed heads.
