TaylorMade’s Tour Ghost putter line is going black.
Aside from the very noticeable change in color (from white to black) the new Tour Ghost line also features a deep-milled aluminum insert for improved feel and sound. The aluminum insert offers a wider variance in sound off the club face to allow players to more accurately differentiate between center and off-center contact.
“With Ghost Tour Black, we’ve taken tour-proven, classic designs and updated them with an all-new milled aluminum insert to give golfers precise auditory feedback,” said Clay Long, TaylorMade’s director of Putter Product Creation. “These putters have been meticulously engineered to deliver golfers the sound, feel and performance sought by the best players in the world.”
There is a total of four models available, including to blade style heads: Daytona and Indy (shown), and two mallet styles: Maranello (shown) and Monte Carlo.
The Ghost Tour Black line will hit the market on March 20 with a starting MSRP of $139.99 for a standard version and $159.99 for an upgraded version with a Super Stroke grip.
